Enumerators (Roaster) - “On behalf of Tankamel Sawa”

General:

In a partnership with arche noVa and funded by BMZ (The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development), Tankamel Sawa is implementing a 48 months WASH project in North Lebanon and Akkar.

The Overall Objective of the project is to strengthen the resilience of Syrian refugees and Lebanese host communities in northern Lebanon to the consequences of the country's socio-economic crisis by promoting rehabilitating water-related projects.

The Enumerator will conduct household surveys and assessments and will be in charge of data collection. The frequency and the duration of single engagement shall be defined based on needs, during the life time of the project.

Under the responsibility of the MEAL officer, the enumerators will be responsible to:

• Actively attend training and planning sessions on assessment methodology and questionnaires
• Ensure high quality data collection and that assessments are conducted in a manner that respects all respondents and guaranty confidentiality of the data collected
• Keep close coordination with the supervisor
• Conducting Data collection with the beneficiaries within indicated work plan
• Reporting to the MEAL officer any issue related to the codification of the assessment
• Discuss with the supervisor challenges faced during data collection
• Reporting any missing question raised during the assessment
• Keeping a record of the number of surveys conducted and areas visited
• Providing feedback and data to the MEAL officer at the end of each working day
• Be committed to participate to any other task in order to achieve the project overall objective

   

• Previous experience in data collection and filling questionnaires using Kobo/Odk forms
• Knowledge about WaSH interventions is a plus;
• Valid Lebanese driving license;
• Own a car to reach the areas of interventions;
• Knowledge of humanitarian principles and good knowledge of the region;
• Fluent in English and Arabic;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Work accurately with close attention to details;
• Initiative, flexibility and willing to learn;
• Respect of Tankamel Sawa policies and procedures;
• Experience with MEAL tools and procedures strategies is a plus.
