The trainer is required to coordinate with the project manager to combine the needs with the training’s material.
Areas of Responsibility:
Developing the capacities of women to become skilled pottery maker, by offering them pottery trainings. The trainings includes both theory and practice related to pottery’ history, design, decoration, shaping, finishing, firing, etc - using different techniques, tools and materials as follow:
- Introducing the history of pottery.
- Presenting pottery techniques: wheel pottery, hand pottery, fire pottery.
- Presenting pottery stages: mixing clay - cavity - casting - glazing in preparation for the use of colors by adding paint to it or using the method of spraying paint- Burning as the last step.
- Introducing pottery ingredients
- Introducing pottery types (porcelain - stone porcelain)
- Learning the decoration of pottery with inscriptions and decorations
- Learning pottery at home
The main task to be completed by the Trainer shall be:
- Developing the training materials to be used in the training module, and implement the meeting agendas agreed upon with the project management team.
- Providing workshop on pottery trainer to a group.
Deliverables
The provider of services shall be responsible for the following deliverables.
- Training Cycle Program
- Training Curriculum
- Final Appraisal at the end of the training cycle.
The Trainer shall have the following number of hours allocated for this task:
