Curriculum Development

1. SCOPE OF WORK

The past two years have marked a considerable decline in the ability for youth to maintain a sufficient degree of autonomy and self-determination for their own successes in Lebanon.

The overall objective of the project is to enhance social and economic empowerment and self-reliance for young Syrian refugee and other conflict-affected youth in Lebanon. The effort will target vulnerable Syrian and Lebanese youth and focus on the North and the Bekaa governorates.

FTL will conduct a Households Assets Need Assessment to provide 120 youth with productive assets of a value of 200 USD. Those assets will increase the households’ capacities in growing their own food, therefore reducing their food budget which the primary basket of expenditure for the most vulnerable households, while allowing them to sell the surplus and generate a small income. Following the Assets Need Assessment, FTL will provide training for households’ assets. In addition, FTL will provide technical production trainings to youth.

FTL is looking for a Consultant to develop the curriculum and material for the households’ asset training and on processing and farming.
