Handcrafts Trainer-BML Area (Repost)

Period of Performance: 8 Months from April 15, 2022 until January 14, 2023


Level of Effort: The handcrafts trainer will conduct training sessions on crochet, knitting, macramé, and cloth recycling.


Background: The handcrafts Trainer will be responsible of organizing and conducting trainings and workshops on crochet, knitting, macramé, and cloth recycling.


Purpose: The purpose of this scope of work is to support the procurement of the services of the handcraft Trainer to plan for, travel to and/or implement the trainings.


Task Description: Consultant will serve as the handcraft trainer in Beirut and Mount Lebanon Area, Lebanon. Specifically, Consultant will complete the following tasks:

  • Knowledgeable about knitting and/or crochet
  • Teaches Crochets edges, seams, and decorative pieces for garments, using crochet needles and yarn.
  • Make crochet coverings for buckle frames, buttons, and other similar trimmings.
  • Teaches macrame techniques
  • Design and recycling old cloth and or materials
  • Draft training reports covering all trainings sides and results from the training
  • Perform other relevant duties, as needed or requested.


Deliverables/Due Dates/Payment Schedule:

  • Delivers Handcrafts Training Sessions based on the needs and request of GBV Program in Beirut and Mount Area
  • Submission of Invoice and Task sheet at the end of each worked month

Fixed Price Fee: 25 USD/ Handcrafts Training Session


Location of Work: Consultant resides in Beirut Area and will conduct her/his work in Beirut and Mount Lebanon areas

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous Handcrafts Training Experience
  • Good communication skills
