Speech Therapist - Clemenceau

General Objectives & Tasks:

1- Take care of people likely to present disorders of communication, language in all its dimensions, and other cognitive activities, and oro-myo-facial functions:

  • Recognize the parents’ request during the first meeting.
  • Establish the main issue of the problem with the parents.
  • Identify and analyze the problem in the patient.
  • Develop a clear diagnosis of the patient.
  • Offer quick and effective solutions, then start rehabilitation.
  • Establish a relationship of trust with the patient to encourage him to participate.
  • Update patient records (write reports on the progress of the disorder).
  • Ensure communication with parents.
  • Make an annual report for each beneficiary.
  • Make a monthly plan and a weekly plan for each beneficiary with evaluation.
  • Report daily feedback including evaluation, daily notes, and weekly summaries.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Preserves and protects patient confidentiality in all situations and with all documentation.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to inflection-control policies and protocols.
  • Demonstrates professionalism as a contract healthcare professional by being punctual and dependable for assigned shifts.

  • Knowledge of the diagnostic techniques of speech therapy.
  • Knowledge of how to effectively manage a rehabilitation session.
  • A sense of interest in the health and wellbeing of patients.
  • Proficiency in applying speech therapy plan treatment.
  • Ability to establish a good relationship with patients and their families.
