Call for experts – Technical assistance for clusters in the Mediterranean - THE NEXT SOCIETY

About the Cluster:

The cluster of technical textile of the Sahel 2TS aims to promote the technical textile in Tunisia which is a very promoting niche at the industrial level and can participate to the economical benefits to the country. The specific objectives are:

• Promoting the Tunisian textile and technical sector at national and international level
• Contributing to the economic and technological development of the Tunisian textile and technical industry
• Contributing to nurturing the value chain of the textile and technical industry  Contributing to developing the sectorial strategy at national level

The cluster consists of 26 members :  (18 SMEs & Startups, research structures, academic institutes, the association of tunisian textile researchers & the office of technological transfer of the university).

About The Next Society  

Berytech is the official partner of The Next Society in Lebanon and Building on THE NEXT SOCIETY  project, Berytech, in partnership with Anima Investment Network, is launching the “Scale-up voucher for Clusters” offering a technical assistance voucher with a value of 9,000 Euros that will be used to assist regional clusters in developing their growth strategy and expanding business opportunities for their cluster members.

• Validate the needs of the cluster, review the business model, and identify market opportunities in Africa for potential future collaborations between Tunisian textile clusters and African companies
• Overview the services of the cluster’s Members and draft a process that can benefit the cluster to improve their member’s sales opportunities
• Develop a commercialization strategy to access African market opportunities
• Develop a feasibility study for the cluster defining who are the collaboration niches to collaborate with, who is the target sector of the members, and what process to follow to be able to reach out to more customers.
• Develop a SWOT analysis for the Cluster and conduct a market study on the sector the cluster is working on to define potential buyers.
• Deliver an induction session for the cluster Employees (Train of trainers) Process Manual for the team to acquire the needed skills to be able to manage the new cluster Strategy. 
• Trainer is expected to send all the developed documentation related to the cluster support including (Toolkit, Process manual, Presentation, Training material, etc…)

Expert trainers or the training firm will be selected based on:

• The proposal and methodology suggested and fit the program’s objective.
• Experts’ bio, proven track records, and experience in the field required.
• In-depth knowledge in the Tunisian Market
• Budget scope       
• 5 years of experience in the related field with knowledge about the Tunisian market
