About MAAN
MAAN aims to bridge inequalities within Lebanon through the promotion of a culture of citizen accountability, the production of qualitative and quantitative evidence-based research, and advocacy for stronger institutions of social protection. MAAN targets citizens, especially youth, throughout Lebanon, to build a popular, public movement advocating for socio-economic policy benefiting all citizens, rather than clientelist networks and elites. It aims to reform policy through a rights-based approach and act as a catalyst between grassroots groups and policymakers.

Our vision is to foster just and equitable communities.
To actualize our mission and vision, our program interventions aim to:
1. Promote common citizenship and independent community activity through the leadership of cross-regional, cross-confessional volunteers.
2. Produce and disseminate hard, evidence-based research and data on local and national socio-economic topics.
3. Stimulate and catalyze advocacy, accountability, and policy reform on socio-economic issues nationwide.
Main Responsibilities
MAAN is seeking a proactive Projects Officer to support the Programs Manager in the overall implementation of Projects.
The scope of work and expected tasks/deliverables will be the following:
- Work closely with the Programs Manager and provide support in the overall implementation of projects
- Assist in overseeing project implementation and respective activities
- Coordinate the implementation of the project with the other parties (Consultants, partners, etc...)
- Ensure a professional standard of work is maintained and project activities are completed on time
- Help develop methods of project initiation, execution, and delivery
- Support in tracking projects performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Deal with the day-to-day planning and support in the supervision of specific projects and teams to carry out associated duties
- Maintain relevant project data pertaining to capacity, new opportunities, and general project records
- Undertake other assignments from time to time, depending on the needs of the projects
- Develop activities reports and update implementation plans
- And any other duties that seem relevant to the position and assigned by your manager.

Skills and Competence
- A graduate or equivalent qualification/degree in Project Management, Political Science, or any other relevant field.
- At least 2 years of prior relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in undertaking similar tasks.
- Possess excellent report writing, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Experience in organizing and facilitating workshops and seminars.
- Good understanding of socio-economic issues and challenges facing populations in Lebanon.
- Very good knowledge of English and Arabic.
