Registered Nurse-Primary Health Care Center-Bashoura

Makassed Health Care Bureau is seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse for its Primary Health Care Center in Bashoura - Beirut.Interested candidates should please share their CVs on: careers@makassedhospital.org

•  Job Objective: Identify and carry out all patient’s nursing care with high level of provided services.
• Main tasks and duties: 

• Check narcotic medications (if applicable) at every shift.
• Provide needed support to all patients taking into consideration his/ her physical, psychological and safety needs
• Prepare necessary equipment and assist in diagnostic tests and therapeutic measures
• Prepare patients physically and emotionally for treatments and diagnostic procedures
• Carry out medical treatment as assigned by physicians and in coordination with the pharmacist
• Provide medication to patients as assigned by physicians
• Answer all patients’ calls and inquiries
• Provide needed teaching to patients and family members
• Assist in discharge or transfer of patients
• Respond to emergency medical cases with promptness and proper judgment
• Know how to use all primary health care center medical equipment
• Ensure tidiness and cleanness of the primary health care center
• Monitor patients’ response to provided therapy and note all changes in medical status and report to physician when needed
• Participate in planning team members duties in collaboration with Head of Section
• Oversee the work of team members and ensure excellent quality of care provided
• Consult with physicians to plan needed care for patients
• Prepare accurate report on patients cases and conditions
• Carry out all medical orders
• Assist new employees in developing their knowledge and nursing skills
• Ensure that weekly stock inventory is properly performed
• Visit patients in their houses, when needed
• Report and follow-up on any maintenance issue related to the center
• Attend and participate in In-service meetings

• Requirements:

  - Bachelor degree in Nursing

  - Nursing Colloquium, Nursing License from the Ministry of Public Health, and Registered in the Order of Nurses in Lebanon.

  - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  - Compassionate and caring for patients
