1.Purpose of the consultancy:
Anera is looking for a short-term consultant to create the content for a children friendly menstrual hygiene booklet / storybook that aims to guide and support parents on:
- How and what to communicate about menstrual health with their children before they get period
- How and what to communicate about menstrual health when girls get their period
- How to provide children with emotional support while they are menstruating
2.Responsibilities of Consultant:
- Provide Anera with the strategy/concept for the menstrual hygiene booklet and carry out needed research to deliver the strategy/concept
- Submit first draft of the menstrual hygiene booklet to the project team
- Submit revisions of the menstrual hygiene booklet based on feedback by the project team (up to four revisions)
- Attend meetings as needed
3.Specific requirements:
Qualifications Required:
Preferred university master’s degree in Public Health and/or proven experience working on content development for communities on menstrual health management
Language requirements:
Arabic: Fluent (Read- Write- Speak)
English: Intermediate (Read- Write- Speak)
Travel:
If field visits are required to camps, transportation will be covered by project.
