CfW Site Supervisor

The CfW Site Supervisor is expected to work on the field (in Bourj Hammoud) 5 days per week, 6 hours per day.

In particular, the Site Supervisor, under the supervision of Cesvi senior Technical Supervisor, will:
• Work with the Mission Staff (both local and international) in order to adhere to logistics, human resource, administration, and security procedures
• Be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the CfW activities, following-up them on a daily basis

S/he is expected to provide any mean of transportation to ensure movements in the area of implementation.
For this position, Cesvi will offer a consultancy contract, inclusive of transportation and communication costs.

OBJECTIVES
Coordination and monitoring of CfW activities
Reporting constantly on project activities to the senior Technical Supervisor

ACTIVITIES
• Provide weekly work plans, realized together with the Municipality of Bourj Hammoud
• Assist the senior Technical Supervisor in the daily follow up of projects activities on the field, track the progress of activities and provide timely feedback;
• Conduct induction to workers on weekly basis;
• Create a constant relationship with the group’s team leaders through whatsapp groups and others communication means;
• Daily collection of attendance sheets, at the end of the 6 hours of work, making sure that the workers completed their tasks
• Daily follow up of the tools and material in the site and warehouse
• Follow up and ensure that workers are following safety rules and Covid-19 measures
• Provide weekly reports with justification of not-achieved tasks using the templates provided;
• Provide to the senior Technical Supervisor designs, data and documents of the activities completed, showing through pictures how the work impacted the street/area of intervention

New activities and tasks that may be necessary or useful for the proper and timely implementation of the projects may be defined jointly by Cesvi, senior Technical Supervisor and the Project Manager.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor Degree in civil engineering or other relevant sectors
- Previous experience (1 to 2 years) in a similar position in the NGO sector AND/OR previous relevant work experience (1 to 2 years) in private/public sector
- Previous experience in CfW interventions will be considered as an asset
- Very good knowledge of the project context (Bourj Hammoud)
- Prior experience in liaising with local authorities will be considered and asset
- Proven Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, ppt
- Attention to details
- Fluent in Arabic, fluent in English will be considered an asset
- Very flexible and with a positive attitude
- Good team player and proactive attitude in problem solving
- Honest, trustworthy, and respectful
- With cultural awareness and sensitivity to needs of vulnerable populations
- Able to work independently under tight deadlines

- VALID DRIVING LICENSE
