Employment Intensive Infrastructure Programme (EIIP) Developing the EIIP E-Training – Concept Note – RFQ 008-2022

1. General overview of the Task

The Employment Intensive Infrastructure Programme (EIIP) in Lebanon is a local development programme aiming at creating decent work opportunities for Lebanese and Syrian, men and women, through infrastructure improvement in Lebanon.  The EIIP plans to develop and introduce the E-training tools for local contractors to be trained on EIIP concept and principals.

A set of short EIIP Local Resource Based Technology (LRBT) Training materials, videos, texts, and quizzes are to be used in e-training that will be delivered online by interested contractors following a proper registration of the company details and the staff enrolled.

The Main aim of this training is to provide easy and interactive visual materials that can improve and enrich the contractors’ knowledge on the EIIP - LRBT concept, main mandates and components before they submit their bids to EIIP tenders.

A short quiz will be introduced after each training chapter.

Participants will need to pass a final test to complete the course, the E-Training will score the tests, issue pass certificates and record the names/organizations of those passing for future reference.

The target audience for those videos are partners, stakeholders in the field who may not have a technical background on the material presented, thus ensuring an easy to grasp visual pairing it with a proper and detailed presentation would guarantee an effective result from the training. Thus, the EIIP is looking for creativity, new and vibrant ideas, to ensure that new concepts and dense material are delivered to the trainees in a light and smooth manner.
