The Enumerator is in charge of conducting household assessments in their designated area using a quantitative questionnaire, as well as distribution of items to targeted households. The Enumerator will work under the supervision of the Field Officer/ senior engineer/ AMEU to ensure that the sample targets are reached in their area of intervention and that the data collection is conducted following Acted guidelines and methodology.
The Enumerator will be responsible for data collection as per program guidelines and will directly undertake and document the following tasks;
- Conduct households’ door-to-door assessments through the use of ODK
- Ensure water fixture distribution is implemented as requested by the project
- Ensure daily quantitative reporting through provided tools
- Coordinate field and household visits through direct contact with beneficiaries and focal points
- Ensure all project assessment is completed in an accurate and timely manner;
- Notifies line supervisor in case of any problem or obstacle in the field;
- Inform relevant ACTED focal points of any security threats or incidents in the field;
- Support in additional ad hoc data collection when needed.

- Ability to demonstrate ethical and professional practice
- Ability to learn new computing skills related to data collection and documentation.
- Basic English knowledge
- Experience with mobile data collection (ODK, KoBo Toolbox, ONA, Survey123, etc.) an asset
- Experience working with local authorities an asset
