Data Entry Personnel - 6 positions - Karantina, ML (Sanatorium- Barouk), South (Saida-Tyre-Nabatieh), North (Tripoli-Halba), Hermel, Zahleh

The National Tuberculosis Programme (NTP) in Lebanon is a governmental program that falls under the authority of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). It is composed of nine Tuberculosis (TB) control centers across the country and one sanatorium.

The specific problems in addressing TB among refugees include difficulties in reaching the population scattered in host communities and temporary settlements, and movement of the population within and across country borders.

The UN Migration Agency (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1951. IOM supports the National Tuberculosis Control Program under the Middle East Response Grant from the Global Fund.

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the NTP central unit team  and NTP center managers. All tasks related to data work will be under the responsibility of the NTP.

In particular, he/she will:

  1. Perform accurate and timely data entry on the electronic TB software.Ensure completeness of collected data through verification with NTP healthcare workers at the TB units. Correct data or complete missing data accordingly
  2. Update and enter data on the electronic TB software and other files and forms when needed.
  3. Scan and store documents in designated locations.
  4. Respond to requests for information and access relevant files in a timely manner.

 

  1. Participate in training sessions related to recording and reporting.
  2. Handle Data with confidentiality and follow internal NTP data protection principles.
  3. Perform any other duties as requested by the NTP central unit team and  NTP center managers within the scope of this TOR

a) Completed University degree in health-related field b) minimum two years of relevant work experience with computer skills (excel, word, power point and other relevant computer applications), c) demonstrated understanding of the humanitarian system through work experience and/or studies d) good knowledge of the assigned area of responsibility
