INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy.
Position Summary
As a Project HR Specialist, you will be based in INJAZ Lebanon North office with various field visits to other areas in Lebanon as needed. Your role will be to manage the Internships component in the Project which includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities: meeting with prospective companies across the different areas, identifying Internships/job opportunities, matching students to job internships/vacancies, and providing students with mentorship to help them secure work that meets their aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Develop the Project HR Specialist strategy for the project.
- Establish a strong network of prospective employers and build strong relationships with the private, corporate and NGO sectors across all areas in Lebanon and specifically in the North for the purpose of enhancing the goals of the above-mentioned project.
- Develop strong relations with universities head of departments to identify talents, among the target students of the project, as needed.
- Identify and Coordinate with recruitment agencies to identify opportunities for INJAZ Lebanon youth, part of the project, and provide recruiting agencies with potential job seekers.
- Identify Internships/job opportunities for the participants of the project and match students’ profiles accordingly while creating partnerships.
- Work on developing youth skills, CVs, the way they present themselves to prospective employers, leadership skills, and financial literacy.
- Attend all sessions and activities related to the implementation of the project (Field Visits).
- Provide students of project with individual mentorships to identify the challenges and opportunities they have in finding employment and prepare them for their interviews and job search and placement.
- Follow up with companies on the students’ interviews and performance during and after internships/employment.
- Oversee the mapping of companies per sector per area as prepared by the Project HR Officer.
- Support in enhancing Youth well-being to find digital solutions and enhance their digital experience
- Assess the students’ performance after the internship, and follow up with the companies who hosted interns for potential job opportunities.
- Engage with students in gathering feedback and lessons learned to improve the internship and employment process for all parties, especially the youth.
- Contribute to the development of INJAZ Lebanon work readiness programs used for the project, as needed.
- Coordinate and follow up with the trainers.
- Manage the logistics and everything related to the sessions, and activities
- Approves invoices & Attendance sheets collected by the Project HR Officer
- Develop and prepare internal and external reports for the project and ensure high-quality reports are submitted on time for the project.
- Undertakes other duties, as assigned or requested by the line manager related to the project.
- Update the database file of companies, students, and other stakeholders relevant to the project
- Conduct cold calls and schedule meetings to gather companies’ requirements and potential job opportunities for the students of the mentioned project above.
- Screen job opportunities through online platforms for the mentioned project.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or Masters in Business Administration (HR Majoring preferred) or equivalent.
- 3-4 years of experience in recruitment, business development, communication or equivalent field.
- Located in North Area
- Preferred Knowledge in recruitment procedure, training and development
- Computer literate with significant experience in MS Office, specifically excel
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can confidently work in a fast-paced energetic environment.
- Detail-oriented

- Highly organized, motivated and a team player
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
