Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Coordinator

MARCH is seeking to recruit a consultant for the position of Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Coordinator (MER) on a full time basis with a university background in social sciences, economics, statistics, or any other related field.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Adhere to MARCH policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system to develop relevant indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project;
  • Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output;
  • Assist in coordinating across the available components of the project to ensure effective implementation of M&E;
  • Maintain and constantly update the master beneficiary database;
  • Conduct consistent interviews to assemble inputs on conducted projects;
  • Synthesize and analyze M&E quantitative and qualitative data;
  • Report regularly on program’s outputs, progress and challenges, and accordingly recommend corrective actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project;
  • Assist Project Manager in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations;
  • Compile, review and edit all of the program reports and other relevant documents in a manner that adheres to the donor’s set templates and standards; 
  • Carry out contextual analysis that focuses on the social, cultural, economic, and political factors;
  • Ensure all the projects’ deliverables are presented within the previously set deadline;
  • Determine research needs, and develop M&E frameworks (ToRs, Log frame, Risk Log, etc.);
  • Organize and conduct capacity building training for staff and other stakeholders with a view to improve monitoring and documentation of programs.

 

Requirement and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in social sciences, economics, statistics, or any other related field;
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of MER experience in the humanitarian field, preferably in peacebuilding and conflict resolution;
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of systemic diversity and cultural differences;
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and reports production;
  • Demonstrate ability in the use of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analytical techniques;
  • Strong experience in report (internal and external) writing;
  • Excellent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
