Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.
Program Background
Berytech is the Lebanese partner of the ENI CBC Med funded STAND Up! project, a project that aims to enhance scalable, replicable and inclusive circular economy textile ventures in the Mediterranean by developing an ecosystem of business support, innovation, and technology transfer that will lead to sustainable job creation for youth and women. The project is implemented in Egypt, Italy, Lebanon, Tunisia and Spain by national partners.
In order to better protect eco-innovation within the clothing and textiles sector in Lebanon, Berytech is developing a report on the state of play and the current Lebanese landscape regarding Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of eco-innovation in textile enterprises.
Purpose
Support "La Boutique Sociale" a start up part of the incubation phase of STAND Up!
One of the main objectives of visual merchandising is to increase sales, buyers' attention, and the capitalizing on the human tendency to ‘window-shop’. So in order to reflect the mission and promote the brands, a good display should be created and the presentation of the products should be optimized

Deliverables
As an outcome of the technical assistance, the consultant should present a report at the end of the collaboration, supported by pictures.
Candidates should submit the following documents:
- Technical (maximum two pages) describing the methodology to conduct the work based on the content suggested in section: “Scope of Work and Deliverables” elaborating it further.
- Profile and project references (maximum two pages): A brief explanation of the consultant(s) background should be submitted (CVs shall be included as annex) along with project references on the topic.
- Financial Proposal describing the expected renumeration and the proposed timeframe of the intervention.
Documents and proposals must be sent to procurement@berytech.org by May 20, 2022, the latest, with the subject: “Techinical Assistance on Visual Merchandising - STAND Up!”
