NRC2022-005 Mini hydropower energy Consultant

The Norwegian Red Cross (NorCross) in Syria aims to address the challenges of energy that has over the years curtailed WASH service delivery to vulnerable populations affected by the crisis through harnessing mini hydropower from existing piped water systems.

Therefore, NorCross is seeking the services of an experienced hydropower Consultant to assess the feasibility of this concept and to subsequently design a pilot project for implementation to provide alternative source of renewable energy to boost water production.

A detailed Terms of Reference (Annex 3) is provided which outlines the background, scope, objectives, and deliverables.
