DISPATCHER

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION

Dispatcher dispatches vehicles in a safe, objective-driven and economical manner and organizes drivers’ assignments and trip payloads, working in strict compliance with the standards set at headquarters. S/He also coordinates with his/her fellow dispatchers of the Sub delegations and supports them regularly.

YOUR PROFILE

• Driving License B or higher.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English (Spoken, Written).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High Teamwork skills.
• Excellent People Management skills.
• Service and Client oriented.     
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and road safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
• Valid Driver’s License

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2  years of experience in relevant field.
• Technical /Professional school diploma
• Good knowledge of Lebanon areas.
• Familiar with all-terrain vehicles, trucks, vans, and VHF radio.
• Familiar with Fleet Telematics and GPS devices
• Experienced in Fleet Dispatch, Scheduling, and Dispatch Management.
• Automotive maintenance experience (oil checks, changing tyres, etc.)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizes and plans drivers' duties and assignments; dispatches the assigned vehicles.
• Keeps tracks of all vehicle movements using Humanav or similar tools.
• Independently works to ensure that the fleet is used in a rational manner.
• Monitors and records vehicle use and fuel consumption.
• Where necessary, checks that field-trip forms are filed and correspond to the assigned mission and that logbooks are filled out.
• Coaches and trains drivers to prevent corruption and smuggling.
• Analyses and mitigates risks (vehicle looting and safety hazards) in dangerous locations.
• Takes all necessary steps to implement the delegation's security rules.
