- Develops implementation plans for all sponsorship activities and assigns duties and responsibilities to all field workers.
- Implements the project activities in within his/her respective area of responsibility as per the annual work plan and budget.
- Ensures that the implementation of work plan is consistent with the envisaged outputs and objectives of the project document.
- Ensures a coordinated and collaborative approach is undertaken among project partners at field-level /in implementing activities interventions and achieving desired outcomes.
- Attends all meetings with other implementing partners as well as local and international organizations and agencies.
- Resolves implementation problems, if any, in consultation with other project staff members and with advice/guidance of the Sponsorship Manager.
- Supervises the activities of field-based staff and consultants, including administrative work and delivery of project outputs.
- Hosts delegations of donors and accompanies them in their field visits as well as coordinates all their activities.
- Prepares annual work plan, quarterly progress report, annual progress report and other plans as required, with assistance/inputs of project staff and ensures timely submission to the Sponsorship Manager.
- Supervises, coaches and mentors field staff for smooth activity implementation.
- Oversees the daily activities of the sponsorship team and ensures that project reports are completed and submitted on time.
- Develops different types of proposals for the sector’s projects and programs addressed to for different local, and international donors.
