PSS Facilitator - Bekaa Area

Identify safe spaces to provide parenting skills that adhere to the quality checklists for center-based and outreach activities shared at the inter-agency level.

Identify caregivers in need of CB PSS (parenting skills) in line with inter-agency selection criteria.

Identify Community Focal Points and members of Community Based Groups to deliver CB PSS as facilitators.

Deliver CB PSS (parenting skills) to caregivers.

Ensure that all caregivers accessing CB PSS and identified as being at high risk are referred to focused PSS and case management.

 Support the logistics and procurement processes needed for the implementation of CB PSS and Community events.

Maintain positive relations with local implementing actors, local authorities and other international and local stakeholders.

Assist in the organization and implementation of awareness sessions for children and adolescents when needed.

Ensure the proper documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) during the sessions (attendance sheets, parental consent, referrals, observations etc.…)

Participate in training as required (e.g. Safe Identification and Referral, Dealing with Disclosures, community engagement etc.)

Support the inclusion men and women caregivers with special needs.

Schedule the activities with caregivers producing daily, weekly and CB PSS activity schedules.

Perform any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the CP officer/team leader
