The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking an “Operation Manager (Mount Lebanon)” for its USAID-funded “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods- PSL” Activity. The PSL is implemented over the course of 5 years (ending 2025) and aims to improve the livelihoods of residents of target municipalities through training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, and marketing and improve and upgrade existing assets in their municipalities. The PSL goal is to sustain the livelihoods of 31,500 households across 7 clusters joining 105 municipalities in the North, Bekaa, South and Mount Lebanon areas (first phase).
Position summary
The PSL Operation Manager [Mount Lebanon] will be responsible for managing onsite activities and field coordinators, as well as coordinating with local authorities, in his/her respective area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Tracking field activity progress against targets and report results to the Livelihood Manager
- Planning the PSL interventions in targeted areas by developing detailed implementation plans
- Collecting all needed data as part of the M&E process, environmental compliance, and, Architecture and Engineering construction quality control plan
- Playing a significant role in long-term planning
- Supervising and coaching field coordinators
- Leading execution of activities/ meetings/orientation sessions/site visits etc. at targeted municipalities/communities
- Collecting/Ensuring submission of progress reports and minutes of meetings/success stories/ surveys other required documents associated with Project activities during the Life of the Project and communicate these to PSL Livelihood Manager
- Maintaining regular contact with Municipalities, livelihood committee and local partners
- Supporting better management reporting, information flow and management, and organizational planning
- Other tasks to be agreed with the Livelihood Manager

- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus

Education and Experience
- Should be holder of a bachelor degree in engineering (preferable) or any or another related field with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in NGOs in senior field operations, preferably on USAID projects
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus
- Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
