Lebanon Eco Movement (LEM) founded in 2012 under the number 1236/2012 – and comprises more than 60 environmental organizations and associations from all over Lebanon having a wide range of expertise, working together to face Lebanon’s environmental challenges, preserving its natural and cultural heritage, and achieving a healthy and a sustainable environment.
LEM seeks to achieve this by:
- Participating in the planning of national environmental policies.
- Coordinating between different bodies and associations working on national environmental policies.
- Organizing advocacy campaigns for the preservation of the Lebanese environment.
- Strengthening the capacities of the member organizations.
- Raising environmental awareness across Lebanon and advocating local communities to work on preserving their natural resources and adhering to all ratified international conventions and governmental agreements.
Notably, LEM has an operational environmental observatory to monitor and report environmental violations across the country, and it keeps close collaboration with the ministry of Environment MoE.

Leadership, solidarity, and participatory work to mitigate the effects of climate change, and reduce pollution through the formulation and advocating for harmonized national laws with relevance to international agreements. POSITION: Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer being responsible for preparing reports and presentations for print and/or digital publishing and producing announcements, posts, web entries, and other forms of graphic communication. He/She must pertain to a transparent, confidential, and accurate position.
Key Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer:
- Layout and design reporting, information, and communication material (banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, reports and infographics, animated presentations) for printing and electronic distribution.
- Maintain an up-to-date multimedia content archive, covering video and still photography.
- Provide branding support as needed.
- Support with scheduling and uploading of social media materials.
- Oversee photo archiving and transfers between archives.
- Support team members as needed.
Requirements for position:
- University degree in graphic design.
- 1-2 years’ experience in graphic design work (Preferable at NGOs/iNGOs).
- Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
- Possesses strong organizational skills and has an eye for detail.
- Creative, with good communication ability.
Working Hours: This is a Part time position requiring 50% of the monthly timekeeping. Your regular weekly schedule will be from Monday till Friday, 3 days from home and 2 days from office, 4 hours a day
