JOB SUMMARY
The Field Officer is responsible for overseeing the operation and execution of activities on the field level.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Duties
- Manage the process during distribution days.
- Scout new locations.
- Plan and manage the daily posters and personals.
- Coordinate with administrative officer and logistics assistant regarding daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with distribution site's responsible.
- Coordinate with outsourcing suppliers.
- Solve beneficiary’s problems.
- Assist team in any other requested task.
Generic Duties
- Follow Caritas Lebanon operational policy and procedures.
- Respect the internal policies and procedures for example: dress code, attendance, discipline, etc.
- Complete schedules, activity planners, monitor staff availability and act against any shortfalls.
- Resolve any staff issues and escalate any unresolved issue to the related manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the related manager.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
Academic
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
Other Qualifications
- Communication and writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and ability to foster teamwork.
Related Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in social work and working with youth groups.
Language Skills
English and Arabic.
Computer Literacy
MS-Word / MS-Excel – Advanced level.
