Call for Proposal - Assisting with the provision of medical services for women and children in existing shelters

This Request for Proposal falls under the project entitled ‘Supporting Beirut’s Immediate Social Recovery Services” funded by the World Bank. All activities carried out by the IRC partners under this project are fully funded by the Bank.

The IRC aims to establish one partnership with one LNGO through an open competitive selection process, in Beirut and Mount Lebanon areas, in order to provide medical services for women and children in existing shelters. This service is part of holistic services provided for survivors of GBV residing in shelters, who are also benefitting from case management, Psycho-social support, life skills, legal assistance, and education for children. Interested applicants to this RFP should include medical and psychosocial support, through a comprehensive integrated package of primary and secondary health care referral services through the available Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) networks and responding to specialized needs of women, boys and girls survivors of GBV. Expected deliverables:

• Sub-grantee is providing primary healthcare services including, but not limited to medical consultations, medicines, psychology sessions, psychiatry sessions, reported through narrative, M&E and financial reports. Clear documentation on the medical conditions and medical services provided will be required.
• Sub-grantee is conducting referrals to secondary healthcare services or other specialized services though referral pathways, reported through referral tracking and narrative reports. Clear documentation on the medical conditions, referral mechanism and type of medical support provided will be required.
• Sub-grantee is developing operational guidance on the provision of integrated, quality medical support for children and boys in GBV shelters, reported through sharing a copy of the guidance with IRC.
