CEVs: Community Engagement Volunteers (Saida, Jezzine, Bent Jbeil and Sour )

Responsibilities:

• Identify local partners from the ground.
• Look for local CBOs, social organizations, community social groups, informal social gathering, neighbourhood associations, youth movement, elderly groups, key local influencers, religious influencers and leaders, local charities, local development groups
• Map all the groups/key influencers identified to feed into the database (ODK) with minimum information (focal point, head of the group, phone number, area of coverage, volunteers in the organization Y/N and if yes how many)
• Engage in the group on Covid-19 and routine immunization
• Assess willingness and acceptance in the communities
• Hold awareness in those groups to promote Covid-19 vaccination with the vaxbuses
• Report hesitancy reasons, challenges, and barriers specific to those communities/group
• Feedback their information and report to the CEA/HPA   to plan vaxbuses visits
• Coordinate their movement plan with the CEA/HPA to avoid duplicate and gaps.
• Raise awareness 2-3 weeks before vaxbuses and refresh promotion the day before
• Leverage local groups networks identified to support the promotion between the vaxbuses visit
• Organize intensified promotion sessions with local volunteers in relevant areas (identified through partners mapping and with the CEA/HPA
