Monitoring Coordinator

Responsibilities:

 

Implementation

  • In charge of field level monitoring of the activities of the partner health center, including: data collection,  Inventorying allocated medicines, checking storage conditions, maintaining proper visibility, and reporting any discrepancy. 
  • Responsible for assessing Health Centers and the provision of all related documentation in alignment with Anera and the project requirement .
  • Maintain very close collaboration with the Pharmacist and/or pharmacist assistant on the smooth development of activities in the pharmacy
  • Provide feedback to the Health Project Manager about opportunities to improve the services provision and keep up to standards.  
  • In coordination with the MEAL Department, leads project-related assessments with the beneficiaries, partners, and staff.
  • Ensure that all the BPRM activities in the Health Center meet BPRM standards as per protocols and guidelines. 
  • Ensure the accuracy of the data and analysis in the health facility. Report results to the line manager.  
  • Provide inputs to Project Manager to ensure that the different components of the BPRM activities are consistent and in link with the health needs of the population  
  • Participate in implementing referral system for secondary and specialized services.
  • Report the project activities on the Inter-agency reporting system 

 

Supervision / Capacity building and awareness sessions 

  • Identify the training needs and coordinate the implementation of capacity building and awareness sessions of medical staff and beneficiaries.
  • Provide technical guidance to the data entry clerk. 
  • Update oneself on current global standards.

 

Monitoring and reporting 

  • Provide analysis of BPRM indicators in monthly report to the Health Project Manager, detailing activities done, supervision, training given, assessments undertaken, etc. 
  • Contribute to monitoring information outputs (i.e. monthly Monitoring Dashboard) 
  • Ensure proper data entry on Apricot in comparison with medical records and share information with data manager. 
  • Collect data, indicators, surveys and assessments according to needs, as requested by the Health Project Manager, and input on a joint analysis. 
  • Provide bi-weekly, and and when needed, summary of activities to Health Project Manager
  • Coordinate closely with Data manager to ensure quality program information are documented and regularly entered in Apricot. 
  • Report immediately any suspect case that activate the threshold to immediate notify the Health Project Manager and further investigation. 

 

Other Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance of partners with Anera and BPRM standards and policies in all project aspects, including but not limited to: Child Protection, PSEA, IT Policy, Anti –Fraud and Corruption Policy, Confidentiality Policy, Code of Conduct, Whistle Blowing, HR Policies and Procedures.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in a related field
  • 3-4 years’ experience in coordinating health related

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, in both Arabic and English
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operating databases and national reporting mechanisms (Activity Info, RIMS, RAIS etc…) is highly desirable
