Social Worker - Metn & Baabda

Main Tasks:

• Participating with the team in the recruitment of beneficiaries for psycho-social activities and caregivers’ support programs and other implemented activities.
• Conducting PSS sessions.
• Recommending and safely referring cases to the best course of action.
• Participating in evaluation focus groups and meetings.
• Filling up daily, weekly and monthly forms and records (registration, monitoring, referrals and reporting on implementation) and reports in collaboration with other team members.
• Participating in multidisciplinary teams and trainings/meetings such as child protection or mental health.
• Conducting home visits when needed.
• Providing case management for cases and households.
• Initiating and implementing activities and assessment depending on each project.
• Entering and updating all social files on database.
• Coordinating with Local CBOs and other implementing partners and focal points to avoid overlapping
• Accepting referrals and ensure an appropriate response
• Preparing and monitoring the attendance sheet of the beneficiaries 
• Sharing tools and materials when participating to meetings and trainings.
• Providing logistic support when needed: refreshment for beneficiaries, decoration, stock,
• Updating the service mapping in the target geographical areas
• Coordinating with the lawyer to ensure a proper follow for beneficiaries in need for legal counselling and representation
• Referring and coordinating with the team leader and project coordinator when needed.
• Attend the meetings of the local NGO forum (LHDF).
• Conduct visits to prisons and detention centers, identify cases in need and provide appropriate follow-up or referrals.
• Coordinate with other team members: animators, psychotherapists, lawyers…
• Reporting in timely manner
