Field Officer

The Field officer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation, he/she will oversee the distribution and coordinate with the partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (100% of time)


- Plan and Assist in the day-to-day operations and implementation of the project’s activities.
- Collaborate with the Project manager and implementing partners to ensure efficient implementation of the project’s activities through working closely with partner field staff to ensure stimulant coordination of activities and other tasks.
- Provide accurate and timely information to beneficiaries about services available.
- Provide information on available services, identify, and refer cases at risk to relevant stakeholders in line with Inter Agency referral standards.
- Organize and conduct outreach activities with support from outreach volunteers, utilize and disseminate community engagement messages on key priorities as identified by the protection team.
- Ensure project data and achievements are reported on a weekly basis and feed into the monthly indicator tracker.
- Support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities in coordination with the Protection Manager and the MEAL team.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking and filing of all project’s activities in line with project objectives, donor requirements, CARE compliance rules and data protection principles.
- Ensure the confidentiality of beneficiaries’ data as per established guidelines.
- Identify needs of beneficiaries and refer them following CARE’s referral mechanism.
- Participate in meetings with CARE and partners upon need.
- Attend coordination meetings with other program staff as required.
- Attend eventual trainings provided by CARE.
- Coordinate with the partner on regular basis and ensure that they have the necessary information
and guidance to implement the project's activities and meet the deadlines.
- Report social trends, field situations and any incident.
- He/she can be asked required to perform other related duties as identified by the supervisor.
- In close collaboration with the Protection Manager, ensure CARE representation in the relevant technical coordination meetings at field level, as well as liaise with external actors (local authorities, national/international NGOs, etc.).
- Maintain a strong and supportive relationship with regional MoSA offices, representatives, municipalities, and SDC staff.
- Coordinate with other protection and case management actors at field level ensure CIL representation in referral pathways and other relevant coordination mechanism.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Experience in field distribution .
• Extensive experience interacting and communicating with local partners.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and networks.
• Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and international environment]

Experience: 

At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs, academic organizations, standard-setting bodies, public agencies focused on protection and Gender Based Violence
