Food Security and Livelihoods Program Manager - Beirut

The Opportunity

The Food Security and Livelihood Programme (FSL) Manager will be based in Beirut, as a member of the Food Security and Livelihoods team, the FSL Programme Manager will lead on the implementation of the FSL programmes in Beirut, and support programme assessment and design.

He/She will ensure that the direct and indirect FSL intervention is of the highest technical quality, that monitoring processes are in place, that reporting is high-quality and timely, and that the programme is continually assessed, and solutions quickly put in place for any changes in local context.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Seven years of progressive experience of humanitarian food security and & livelihoods programming; experience in vocational trainings, MSME and entrepreneurship programming is essential, including 3 years in management position.
  • Strength in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience of liaising with the UN, national and donor governments and NGOs as advantage.
  • Economic recovery programming in humanitarian response
  • Experience in managing a team in a humanitarian context
  • Excellent time management skills
