Key responsibilities
• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the DMO and its staff and ensure all rules, regulations and policies of DMO are respected by all staff
• Participate in the development of the management plans through conducting studies of touristic resources in the area and their potential for further development
• Effectively lead, manage and develop relevant staff, in respect of recruitment, appraisals, performance and personal development
• Gather data about the region, and analyze findings to inform destination development and marketing planning
• Oversee work of future departments and monitor activities
• Conduct regular meetings with the team to assess the field and to asses the problems and challenges
• Provide recommendations
• Support in the development of marketing plans, including campaigns, and promotional programs
• Manage media relationships and PR activities, and familiarization tours;
• Provide new vision to the DMO center

• Knowledgeable in project management, human resources and budgeting
• At least two years of experience working in a destination marketing organization, marketing
• agency or tourism business
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferably living in Aley district
• Excellent writing skills in English and Arabic, French as a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT and integrated management systems
