Responsibilities
Fundraising & Grant Management
- To coordinate the organisation’s grants strategy, to manage all responsibilities related to grant administration, and to oversee all direct communications with donors.
- To ensure that grant agreements are followed in compliance with donor regulations.
- To lead all reporting processes, working closely with the programme and finance teams to ensure the submission of clear, concise, and timely narrative and financial reports.
- To maintain reporting calendars and grants application schedules, and to research opportunities for new grants, donors, fundraising platforms, and business development.
- To draft, edit, and submit narrative proposals, concept notes, and budgets for potential donors, in coordination with senior members of the programme and finance teams, and to follow all procedures within application processes (e.g. attending orientation sessions).
Monitoring & Evaluation
- To develop strong monitoring and evaluation infrastructures (including programme work flows, logical frameworks, etc.) and to ensure that project objectives are met and reported as required.
- To ensure that beneficiary data is kept secure, up to date, and accessible for reporting needs.
- To maintain a broad and deep understanding of donor policies, regulations, procedures, and compliance needs, and to build this knowledge among other team members.
- To participate in the annual work planning and budgeting process for the purposes of exploring programme growth and identifying priority areas for development.
Human Resource Development
- To help resolve workplace conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
- To carry out administrative duties related to staff welfare, including organising periodic performance reviews and overseeing salary adjustments according to established performance-based criteria.
- To assist senior managers in human resourcing processes including recruitment, orientation, and training
- To develop clear institutional policies and ensure strong policy awareness among staff.
- To represent the organisation at meetings, functions and events, some of which may occur outside normal office hours and may involve long–distance travel.
- To perform any other reasonable duties and tasks as requested by the organisation.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience working in arts and cultural management, programming, and administration, including some experience in grant writing and/or grant management.
• Bachelor-level qualification in a relevant field; Master-level qualification is desirable but non-essential with adequate professional experience.
