Key Responsibilities:
- Provide lessons to children in accordance with the approved curriculums. (Both Physically and online)
- Prepare Daily lesson /Annual Plan.
- Tests Evaluation and assessment of pupils' work and report on pupils' achievement.
- Proctoring the exams
- Regularly attend tutors and parents' meetings.
- Attend meetings with School Principal, Education Officer, Project Director, and any requisite meetings.
- Attend JRS trainings and school celebrations/ trips.
- Be responsible for classroom management, time management, and attendance sheets.
- Tailor the lessons according to the abilities of the children in the classroom.
- Coordinate with the tutors, School Principal, and School administrator.
- Adhere to JRS Policies and procedures during class time
- Contribute to the supervisory duties
- Contribute to the work of the school as a whole
Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in Mathematics or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a math teacher
- A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Organizational and team working skills
- Good cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Highly approachable, trustworthy, and maintains confidentiality
- Experience in planning class programs
- Experience in participatory programs
- Experience in working with refugees is a plus.
The schedule is 25 hours/week.
