TEAM PURPOSE: The Oxfam team in Lebanon implements integrated humanitarian, development and policy interventions in line with Oxfam’s country strategy for Lebanon as relevant to Beirut Mount Lebanon, the Bekaa and North Lebanon areas, including protection & governance; cash assistance and economic development/livelihood; WASH/water governance with a focus on partnerships. The humanitarian pillar, in particular, ensures that marginalized women and men of all nationalities and statuses are able to have safe access to WASH, attain their rights to life, security, protection and basic assistance, and that they are enabled to support their own basic needs, develop their livelihoods, all in a manner that respects and maintains their dignity.
JOB PURPOSE: The Project Assistant position will support and monitor the implmenetation of all activities assigned by the Project Manager. The position will be based in Beirut or Tripoli, with regular travel to programme sites which could include Beirut Mount Lebanon, North Lebanon, Akkar, North Bekaa and any other district assigned by Oxfam. He/she will oversee distributions, manage daily workers and enumerators and complete and organise all events and awareness campaigns.

GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE
Beirut or Tripoli (with travel to all field locations in Beirut Mount Lebanon, Bekaa and North Lebanon)
KEY STAKEHOLDERS
Project Manager, WASH Advisor, Protetion Advisor, Gender Advisor, Humanitarian Programme Managers, Field Engineer (Solar), MEAL Teams and others…
Programme and Reporting
- Coordinate and implement distributions, awareness sessions and other activities as assigned by Manager
- Ensure that documentation is accurately completed, compiled, safely stored and archived
- Ensure regular interface with communities
- Manage daily workers and enumerators when needed, ensuring high quality data collection and implementation
- Provide regular reports on activity progress and monitoring to line manager
MEAL
- Support post-distribution monitoring, baseline and endline activities (including data collection)
- Conduct regular onsite monitoring visits and report on findings
- Co-manage the accountability phone and What’s App communication channels for Tripoli humanitarian projects, particularly cash distributions, with designated focal point
- Receive and handle feedback and complaints from beneficiaries of all projects, share with teams, and support tracking and follow-up on the Your Word Counts system

- Experience coordinating with contractors
