Videographer

General objectives and tasks: 

1- Coordinate with the marketing team to provide them with the
audiovisual support necessary for their work:

  • Study the needs of the marketing department.
  • Dissect the overall ideas and the way in which we would like
  • to proceed.
  • Be present during the events of the association in order to
  • provide the audiovisual support needed firstly, film and photograph the event
  • on another hand.

 

2- Carry out the pre-production phase:

  • Organize a brainstorming meeting with the concerned parties
  • (client, videographer, one to two colleagues of the marketing team), in order
  • to share ideas and decide on the realization of the project.
  • Create the story-board and validate it by the client if
  • needed.
  • Evaluate the number of people needed, tools, budget…
  • Elaborate a quotation of the total cost to be validated with
  • the client by the department before proceeding.
  • Implement a detailed action plan to operate.

 

3- Carry out the production phase:

  • Go with the people concerned to the filming location.
  • Install the equipment and material needed for filming.
  • Do the repetitions and tests in order to be ready.
  • Carry out the planned filming and/or take the adequate
  • photos.

 

4- Carry out the post-production phase:

  • Watch the filmed videos and extract the ones we will use.
  • Make the relative editing by cutting and modifying the
  • necessary in terms of colors, sounds, effects…through the appropriate software.
  • Introduce supporting texts and logos to properly convey the
  • desired message.
  • Ensure that the video produced meets the need mainly
  • mentioned and send it to the client for validation.
  • Make the necessary final modifications if the case arises.

 

5- Ensure archiving of videos and photos:

  • Create and maintain an archive of the filmed videos and the
  • taken photos with a unique reference to each article.
  • Create a database of references to facilitate research in
  • the archive.

 

Position requirements:

Skill set and competencies:

  • Mastery of video direction and production
  • techniques
  • Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot,
  • and perform repairs to audio and video equipment.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and
  • schedules.
  • Ability to configure, operate and maintain
  • audio, lighting and associated production equipment.
  • Knowledge of computerized tape editing
  • applications and procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional audio and/or video
  • Tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Proficiency with editing software.
  • Autonomy
  • Creativity
  • Teamwork
  • Meticulousness
  • Patience

Working schedule: From Monday Till Friday from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm

Contract type: 1 year (renewable based on funding)
