Sexual Health Educator

     Essential Responsibilities

• Provide rapid testing services for sexually transmitted infections as per Marsa’s guidelines while maintaining client’s confidentiality
• Conduct awareness and educational sessions about sexual and reproductive health, 
• Participate in outreach activities and condom distribution 
   
• Conduct all activities in a professional manner while ensuring respect, non-judgement and friendly attitude
  
  Voluntary Counseling and Testing
• Provide adequate sexual and reproductive health information to Marsa beneficiaries
   
• Provide rapid testing services for sexually transmitted infections as per Marsa’s guidelines
   
• Ensure that all the required data is being collected and entered into the Electronic Medical Records software accurately
• Deliver positive and negative test results to beneficiaries in professional, sensitive, and respectful manner
• Refer clients to in-house or partner medical and psychosocial professionals, institutions, and NGOs according to the updated referral sheet
• Contact Administrative Officer when needed for support or sharing necessary confidential information
• Answer beneficiary inquiries via the center’s phone line and provide them with the needed support such as referrals in house or outside of Marsa.
• Follow all the guidelines, rules, and procedures set by the Sexual Health Education Coordinator and Marsa management
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude void of stigma and discrimination.

• Attend and participate in meetings and workshops as required.
• Participate in project activities as indicated by the Sexual Health Education Coordinator and management 
   
• Report regularly on daily activities to the Sexual Health Education Coordinator and escalate any issues that require top management’s intervention 
   

• Report to the sexual health education coordinator when supplies are running out or defected 
• Maintain strictly professional attitude with beneficiaries 
• Avoid sharing personal information with beneficiaries and asking questions that are not related to the Marsa requirements
• Ensure day-to-day operations are run smoothly and according to the center’s rules and procedures
• Abide by Marsa’s values, code of conduct, and policies
• Provide support to Administrative Officer as needed
• Participate in outreach activities that includes condoms distribution
• Participate in the development of new outreach activities and strategies
