Communication Officer

Job Purpose:

To ensure professional exposure of WPA’s performance and achievements and represent WPA during NGO’s meetings and conferences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement context-driven communications strategy associated planning that supports organizational strategy execution
• Overseeing all internal and external communications, and ensuring its message is consistent and engaging
• Ensure visibility to donors and other operating agencies by producing periodic reports, magazines, newsletters, digital communication and social media
• Create communication plans for the organization with assigned focal points, as relevant
• Work closely with the project managers and centers supervisors to implement communication plans
• Manage digital marketing activities and budget to maximize performance in coordination with the web developer
• Plan all activities related to staff (day out or event …)

  Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, International Relations, or Marketing
• 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience
• Essential computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
• Good data analysis skills
