The project encompasses two main dialogue processes, each with its own tracks. On the one hand, a dialogue between Lebanese political and social actors (The Lebanese Dialogue), and on the other hand, the Lebanese Palestinian Dialogue Forum (LPDF).
Together, the two dialogue processes s are expected to empower civic and political actors to co-create opportunities for trust-building on the way of moving the country towards reform, recovery, and reinvigorating state institutions.
- Scope of work
- Designing and implementing structured dialogue processes.
- Supporting and assisting in the organization and implementation of dialogue initiatives including administrative and logistical requirements.
- Leading on coordination and facilitation of dialogues for the Lebanese crisis ongoing projects at CSI. Engage actors including governments, national stakeholders and partners in structured dialogues.
- Reporting on findings, insights, issues, and recommendations identified through stakeholder dialogues.
- Monitoring and analyzing developments with relevance to dialogue.
- Supporting and assisting in the design, organization and carrying out of conferences and other public events.
- Engaging with a wide range of interlocutors and relevant institutions in a politically informed and conflict sensitive manner.
- Training staff in dialogue facilitation, effective communication and other issues related to dialogue (if requested and needed).
