These activities include skills building trainings for beneficiaries on diverse topics based on the needs of the trainees. The trainer/consultant is required to coordinate with the project manager to combine the needs with the training’s material.
Areas of Responsibility:
The Marketing specialist is required to support the trainees in designing and adopting the most suitable marketing strategies for their businesses.
Job Responsibility:
The marketing consultant is expected to deliver the following:
- Introducing the trainees to market research and linkages to strategy positioning the business.
- Introducing the trainees to SWOT & competitive analysis.
- Providing the trainees with the needed skills to devise a strategy according to objectives (Covering: Basic marketing, E-marketing, Digital marketing, Communication, Branding and Image).
- Advising trainees on budgeting and opportunity costs.
- Giving direction and roadmap document to implement the strategy created with the most effective methods and tools.
- Providing advice on branding, positioning, communications and other marketing issues.
- Creating processes and a product development life cycle.
- Identifying main media messages, communication tools and marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Improving customer experience, PR skills and public relations.
- Provide contacts, if needed for reliable vendors, in the field of packaging, media communication….
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- BA in marketing, communications, business or relevant field.
- Minimum of three years’ in a senior marketing position.
- Proven experience as marketing consultant or similar role.
- Strong Knowledge of data analysis and market research.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and best practices.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Arabic languages.
- Strong cross-cultural skills and experience working with people from different ethnic/cultural backgrounds.
- Demonstration experience in planning, organization, resources management, and mediation.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- High creativity in writing effective proposals and reports.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office/Working knowledge of IT and marketing software.
Deliverables
The provider of services shall be responsible for the following deliverables.
- Training Syllabus and timetable
- Materials used throughout the workshop and training curriculum.
- Training logistics (attendance sheet, record keeping…).
- Total cost including number of hours and/or days + cost per hours and/or day.
- Appraisal by the end of the training with further recommendations.
Reporting
The Marketing Consultant shall report to the project manager.
