Technology Trainer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, electronics engineering, or equivalent degree.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in students’ instruction and/or training.
• Deep knowledge of Arduino microcontrollers, electronics, sensors, actuators, and wiring circuits.
• Deep knowledge in developing mobile applications using MIT App Inventor.
• Deep knowledge of coding languages, C/C++, Arduino sketches, Python, and drag-and-drop coding, among others.
• Ability to design and implement robotics, IoT, and electronics projects using Arduino and MIT App Inventor.
• Previous experience in curriculum development is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Priority is for residents of Al Beddawi and Nahr El Bared camps and neighboring areas.
• A successful candidate must be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Duties:

• Prepare and deliver Technology workshops.
• Monitor and report on the technical and interpersonal development of participants to the youth coordinator.
• Support the project’s internal monitoring and evaluation.
• Attend meetings and training workshops that are related to workshops.
• Performs other job-related tasks such as following up with the attendance sheet and communicating with the participants.
