Caregiver

Main Tasks:

• Ensure day and night shift at the shelter based on a preset schedule with the shelter manager including weekends
• Provide technical and logistical support to the shelter manager and social worker
• Maintain a safe and comfortable and clean shelter environment
• Take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of the beneficiaries
• Communicate with shelter residents, co-workers and supervisors regarding care, schedule,
• Manage medications for residents
• Prepare schedule for meals and chore for residents
• Ensure transportation and accompany beneficiaries to appointment (doctors, hospital,) when needed in collaboration with the social worker
• Keep proper care records and reporting changes to shelter team
• Report any unusual incidents
• Attend staff meetings and trainings when needed
• Attending in person or online trainings on safe identification and referral, PSEA, employee engagement, shelter management and PFA
• Report to the line manager in a timely manner with a high standard of accuracy.
• Attend meeting when necessary and share the tools with other staff members.
• Visit the main office when necessary
