World Vision Lebanon is happy to announce two internship vacancies to support the MEAL department in tasks related to research, monitoring, and evaluation. These include:
1- New and on-going research projects in sectors of WASH, Livelihoods, Child Protection, and Education. Interns will be expected to support the research teams throughout the processes or designing research methodologies, developing data collection tools, collecting data on the field, managing data, analyzing data, supporting in write up and dissemination
of research findings.
2- Monitoring and evaluation of on-going interventions. Interns will be expected to participate in regular monitoring activities, including data collection / analysis and reporting of monitoring findings. This will also include baseline and midline evaluations of new, on-going, and closing projects.
3- Sectoral needs assessments. Interns will be expected to participate in new and on-going needs assessments conducted at sector level in terms of planning, data collection / analysis, and reporting.
As part of this internship, interns will be invited to work at World Vision offices, will be included in regular team meetings, and will report to supervisors at the office and on the field.
Interns will be exposed to a wide array of projects in which their project management, data management, and scientific writing skills will be used, in addition to their background in public health and community interventions.
