Senior UX / UI Consultant - DAWERR Activity

Scope of work 

The DAWERR Activity team seeks an expert (we are targeting independent consultants only) over a period of 5 months to deliver up to 20 x 1-1 sessions to Nadeera team, to provide tailored support, mainly:

• Utilize your extensive experience to provide guidance and mentorship to the in-house UX/UI expert, helping them to create personas, user journeys, and other UX design deliverables
• Review and provide feedback on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes developed by the in-house team, making suggestions for improvements and optimizations
• Design additional wireframes and mockups to visually communicate the proposed solution as needed
• Provide support in the areas of design documentation, design strategy and user research, as per the need of the startup
• Support the startup's development team to ensure that the final product meets user needs and is visually appealing and easy to use
• Provide guidance on development: Work with the development team to ensure that the final designs are implemented correctly
• Provide guidance on testing and validating the app's usability, and help to conduct user research and usability testing.
• Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), such as user engagement, retention, and conversion rates, to measure the success of the app and identify areas for improvement.
• Review the startup’s progress and address any issues related to UX/UI that arise

Note: The scope of work can be adjusted based on the startup's specific needs

 Expectation

Key Deliverables: 

• Submit a report to the program management team after each session; covering progress, challenges faced, and recommendations provided to the team

Qualifications  

• A minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in UX/UI design
• Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of UX/UI design work, including research, wireframing, prototyping and visual design
• Expertise in user-centered design methodologies and principles
• Strong understanding of web and mobile design, including responsive design
• Strong understanding of design systems and principles
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Experience leading and coaching junior designers
• A solid understanding of the latest design trends and technologies.
• Experience in developing design documentation and design strategy.
• Strong understanding of the business goals and objectives and aligning the design to those goals.
