Entrepreneurial Workshop – REAF Program – Youth Training

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

The Rural Entrepreneurs in Agri-Food (REAF) program aims at strengthening the business and product viability of innovative startups tackling sustainable rural economic development operating in South Mount Lebanon, Central and West Bekaa. The program will provide the startups with the tools to transform their ideas into sustainable and profitable businesses. REAF’s youth training will enhance their entrepreneurship mentality and entry into the job market.

We are seeking proposals from experienced entrepreneurship experts to deliver workshops on the following topics: Entrepreneurial mindset, social entrepreneurship, green entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship in rural economies. The goal of these workshops is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to start and grow successful businesses in these areas

 

Scope of work

The workshops will be delivered in a modular format, with each module focusing on one of the four topics listed above.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Understanding the characteristics and mindset of successful entrepreneurs. Developing a growth mindset and learning to think creatively and strategically. Identifying opportunities and taking calculated risks.
  • Social Entrepreneurship: Understanding the concept of creating social impact through business. Identifying and addressing social issues in rural areas. Developing and implementing a sustainable business model for social impact.
  • Entrepreneurship in Rural Economies: Understanding the unique challenges and opportunities of doing business in rural areas. Building networks and partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders. Leveraging resources and technology to support rural business development
  • Green Entrepreneurship: Understanding the principles of sustainable business and the importance of environmental responsibility. Identifying opportunities for eco-friendly business models in rural areas. Developing strategies for reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability

Each module should include a combination of theoretical and practical components, as well as opportunities for participants to apply what they have learned through group activities and case studies. The workshops should be designed to be interactive and engaging, with a focus on participant learning and skill development.

Delivrables
  • Increased understanding and knowledge of the concepts and practices related to entrepreneurial mindset, social entrepreneurship, green entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship in rural economies among workshop participants.
  • Development of practical skills and knowledge that can be applied to starting and growing a business in these areas.
  • Increased awareness and interest in entrepreneurship as a career path among participants.
  • Developing the workshop curriculum and materials, including presentations, handouts, and case studies.
  • Delivering the workshops in person or virtually
  • Providing post-workshop support, including follow-up materials and resources.
  • Assessing participant learning and providing feedback to the organization
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering entrepreneurship workshops or training.
  • Experience and knowledge of the topics of entrepreneurial mindset, social. entrepreneurship, green entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship in rural economies.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a virtual or in-person learning environment.
