Mapping officers

His/her main role is to provide accurate, updated, and reliable information used to facilitate the response of NGOs in Lebanon to the needs of persons with disabilities.

Tasks include the following:

• Conduct assessments and update surveys.
• Collect a high quality data using mobile applications in addition to field paper templates.
• Maintain an accurate reporting and data management of the activities.
• Raise internal and external referrals for sites and individuals as appropriate.
• Attend internal meetings and trainings as required.
• Participate in trainings with other mapping partners when needed.
• Communicate implementation problems or issues to the management as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• University degree in social work or any related field
• Team-player with good interpersonal skills
• Willing to support others and share workloads
• Capacity to work under pressure and manage personal stress levels
• Creative, open-minded, flexible and a self-learner
• Ability to adapt communication strategies for different situations
