Finance Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the Creation and implementation of financial policies to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation and planning of budgets.
  • Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions.
  • Ensure financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and changes.
  • Contribute to financial audits.
  • Monitor all bank deposits and payments.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve problems.
  • Prepare invoices and reports
  • Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Check all the supporting documents and issue that it is compliant with the policies
  • Collect, analyze and summarize account information
  • Develop periodic reports for management.
  • Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups.
  • Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualification                                                                                                 

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Professional Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of clerical experience in the area of finance and accounting.
  • Experience in report writing.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic finance/accounting procedures.

Skills

  •  Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
  •  Excellent writing skills.
  •  Highly organized and attentive to details.
  • initiative, high sense of responsibility, organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  •  Strong oral and written communications skills.
