Job Description
- Conducting comprehensive Social and Behavior Change (SBC) situation analysis of social, communication, cultural issues.
- Monitor and assess the impact of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies and activities goals to achieve measurable behavioral and social change resulting in the improvement of children’s rights and wellbeing. Submit qualitative report/synthesis of results for development planning and improvement.
- Support to the implementation of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) activities
- Provide technical, administrative, and logistical support and background materials to carry out Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies and activities and recommend operational strategies, approaches, plans, methods, and procedures to ensure community engagement and participation, and optimum outreach and impact.
- Follow up and monitor the production of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) materials to ensure technical quality, consistency and relevancy of communications materials that are developed, produced and disseminated to target audience (e.g., individuals, communities, government officials, partners, media etc.)..
- Support the organization, administration and implement capacity building initiatives to enhance the competencies across the program in Social and Behavior Change (SBC) planning, implementation, and evaluation. Develop training materials for training activities, and revise and update them as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Sociology or any other related field.
Professional Experience
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience in report writing.
Skills
- Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
- Good writing skills and highly organized.
- Capacity to work in team and flexibility to take on new tasks.
- Tolerant and capable of handling complex social and humanitarian situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Dynamic leader with creative problem-solving skills, particularly in challenging situations.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
Others
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
- Knowledge of contextual diversity of various areas of Akkar, Lebanon.
