Data Analyst

About the Job:

Ruwad alHoukouk FR is seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Beirut. We are planning to move from using excel sheets for its case data to build a database application. The Data Analyst is required to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data is accurately collected, analyzed, and reported.

Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst, will be assigned the task of reviewing and clean our current data to be consistent with the to-be build database Application. The Data Analyst is also expected to make recommendation for the best program solutions to build a data base Application.

Specifically, the responsibilities of the Data Analyst include:

• Developing and implementing strategies to analyze the existing data on Excel sheets to improve data accuracy and completeness.
• Conducting a thorough review, cleaning, restructuring, organizing and analyzing it to ensure formatting, standardization, completeness, and consistency of the existing data from Excel with the additional fields from Word doc, to be ready for migration to a database application.
• Testing the final product using statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
• Communicating data insights and findings through the creation of data models, dashboards, and reports.
• Analyzing the current data management processes to identify areas for modification and development to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and utilization.
• Make recommendation for process improvements based on analysis results and data-driven insights, and for the development of adequate and reliable database Application to answer our needs and requirements and ensure proper data management.

Requirements

• Master degree in computer science,
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis role, with a track record of successful data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.
• Experience with database management software such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, data visualization tools, and programming languages such as R or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently.
