Project Coordinator/ M&E Officer

The Project Coordinator/ M&E Officer will carry out the project work plan in coordination with the Program Manager and other supporting staff. In parallel, the PC/ M&E officer will assist with data collection, analysis, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of activities in accordance with the Association’s policy and project requirements.  The PC/M&E officer will follow a work plan and submit progress reports on time while keeping track of other project logistics. The PC/ M&E officer will assist the program manager in ensuring quality control, scheduling and monitoring deadlines, following up on and amending to stressful situations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Promote the vision, mission, and strategic goals of Ana Aqra Association.
• Implement a plan of action to achieve project goals.
• Attend all internal meetings and those called for by partners and grantors.
• Conduct necessary field visits while using your own vehicle.
• Prepare and submit required reports.
• Use the existing tracking system to ensure project documentation and progress.
• Communicate with the Program Manager about all issues and challenges encountered while implementing project activities.
• Mediate and resolve arising conflicts.
• Follow up on the timeline of the work frame and reinforce time management and program requirements to ensure success.
• Plan the required events and meetings and keep all relevant records.
• Develop, improve, and update tools for data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Prepare and maintain a database.
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress toward achieving results.
• Provide feedback on project strategies and activities.
• Assist the Program Manager in the preparation of project-related reports including findings and lessons learned.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Statistics or any related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience coordinating, designing and implementing M&E in humanitarian and development projects carried out by national/international NGOs
• Experience designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and report production
• Proven ICT skills, especially in MIS and database software
• Expertise in data analysis using statistical software
• Strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and organize workload while keeping changing priorities and competing deadlines in mind
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work and manage issues professionally and with maturity.
