Consultancy and Training services

Eligible bidders are those registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Finance.

Interested candidates with proven ability to deliver on the below mentioned assignment deliverables within the set timeframe,  should submit their company or personal profiles via email to tony.kanaan@caritas.org.lb to receive the related request for quotation file to be filled out and submitted.

The deadline for quotation submissions is April 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Quotations that are received by Caritas Lebanon after this deadline may not be considered for evaluation.

Assignment timeframe: Mid- April to mid-July 2023

Main deliverable: Develop a capacity building plan and implement its’ activities (maximum of 19 working days in total) as per the below general workplan:

• Participate in a kick off meeting to discuss the scope of work and purpose of the assignment
• Conduct a desk review of primary and secondary data (i.e. existing training materials, completed past training lists and modules, needs assessments, etc.)
• Conduct an assessment to link the literature information with the actual feedback from CL’s management and other staff through FGDs/interviews with CL’s management mainly portfolio managers, head of BDQI department, MEAL Manager, MEAL team and other staff as identified by CL and the consultant. The outcome of these FGDs/KIIs would feed into the training plan that will be drafted to support the capacity building of the targeted staff
• Present an assessment report on the findings specifying the list of all training topics’ needs, priorities, recommendations and submit a capacity building plan, according to the pre identified listed topics in addition to the ones identified by the trainer. CL have identified 3 main training priorities:

a.            Reporting (involving all relevant projects staff and other focal persons)

b.            Data Collection

c.            Data analysis and visualization

NB. Please note that CL is looking into using the software “tableau” to serve the above-mentioned results, thus the trainer must be able to tailor the training materials specifically to it.

• Tailor and finalise the proposed training material and content of the confirmed subjects by CL and Trócaire. The trainer is also expected to design and submit the M&E tools that will be adopted during the training sessions, and which will support the monitoring and evaluation of the competed training with the staff, hence, the level of transferred knowledge
• Deliver training sessions based on the identified topics and within the specified timeline
• Present final training reports by mid-end of July including list of attendees, learning outcomes, progresses (pre & post test results), trainer and participants evaluation, photos, agenda, detailed activities description and recommendations
