Communication and Fundraising Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the organization's social media presence across platforms, including developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to support fundraising and outreach efforts.
  • Create, curate, and post engaging content on social media platforms to increase Borderless NGO's online visibility, promote fundraising campaigns and activities, and increase engagement with the organization's mission and work.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze communication and fundraising campaigns to increase public recognition and foster a positive image and strengthen brand awareness, credibility, and acceptance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community partners, to create compelling content for various communication channels such as social media, newsletters, press releases, and websites.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies and plans that promote Borderless NGO's work and increase engagement with the organization.
  • Support the coordination of events, conferences, and other communication activities that promote Borderless NGO's mission and goals. Assist in the production of marketing and communication materials such as brochures and presentations that effectively communicate Borderless NGO's work and impact.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support marketing and communication initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement. Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communication team as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in community outreach, fundraising, or marketing and communications, with a focus on social media management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Experience creating and implementing successful communication and fundraising campaigns, with a focus on social media. Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for social impact and community engagement.
